Tara Howard, Managing Director of the exclusive Langtry Manor (named the best hotel in
Bournemouth by The Guardian) believes that successful women rarely get the recognition
they deserve, and has created ‘The Langtry Manor Business Women Awards – for business
women in Dorset. Says Tara “Women often have to work harder in order to succeed in a
man’s world and I feel we need to be recognised for our efforts.”
There are ten award categories acknowledging the valuable contribution Dorset’s
businesswomen make to the local economy and all of the categories are sponsored
by female friendly companies.
